Not as powerful as I thought.It can dry my 5-year-old’s short hair(barely touch her shoulder) in 5 minutes.But for me, I have long hair all the way to the waist, and I can’t use it to dry at all.Also on the handle of the picture showed, it has four settings (including off), but turned out it has only three settings – high, low, and off.This dryer is for people who have thin and short hair. I have dry, frizzy, and somewhat wavy hair and this hair dryer smooths my hair straight while drying it. I don’t have to use a flat iron after using this hair dryer. I would highly recommend using the Bio Ionic hair brushes in combination with the dryer to achieve maximum results.

    		Bio Ionic iDry Nano -i5X Nano -ionic Conditioning Pro -Dryer (Misc.) I had a dryer almost identical to this for several years and the heat just stopped working. This is almost identical but I paid a lot less money for this dryer than my old one. Much better deal to purchase on Amazon instead of through the beauty salon. Will definite do the same in the future for other purchases. This dryer is like the one they use in the salons so it is not light weight. If you have trouble styling or manipulating a hair dryer that is heavier this is not for you . I am use to it and know how to style my hair so it is no problem for me. The Ionic feature does seem to dry the hair faster and with less frizz. Bio Hair

    		Bio-Ionic Travel Pro Hair Dryer (Health and Beauty) I bought this for a trip to Europe in April 2010 and was really pleased with it…until last month, when all of a sudden, the ‘high’ button just stopped working. My purchase was made through Amazon from a company called ‘Shear Up.’ I got it for a very good price and there seems to be a one-year warranty from the manufacturer. But they want $19 and won’t take checks. The whole thing is pretty ridiculous. I’ve written to ShearUp and we’ll see what they say. I used to have a Conair which lasted me 10 years.
